Reasons to Write Everyday

Whether you write for a hobby, a living or just for fun, you should write every single day. You should write at least five days a week for two or more hours a day. The easiest way is to set aside a specific time of day and the longer you write the better. It doesn’t matter what you write about as long as you write. As with most things we do, the more you do it the easier it gets. There are many reasons to write every day and I have highlighted a few.

  1. To establish a sense of self-discipline We are creatures of habit, so when we train ourselves to write at a certain time every day it will start to feel natural.
  2. Find your “Writing voice” Just let your thoughts flow. Soon you will develop your own “Writing Voice.” You will find that the way you write, or the words you use, will be unique to you.
  3. Boosts self confidence Once your “Writing voice” emerges, you will be more confident in your writing skills.
  4. Analytical thinking Writing tends to clear the mind. When you have a clear mind you will find you can think clearly.
  5. Enables Creativity You will soon open the creativity gates and your thoughts start to flow. It doesn’t really matter what you write about as long as you write.
